A few days ago, I was fortunate to be among a small group of candidates from across the state invited to Republican Reformers Weekend. I had the opportunity to discuss our campaign with some of California’s leading reformers, including Assembly Members Travis Allen, Catharine Baker, David Hadley, Marc Steinorth, Katcho Achadjian, and Ling Ling Chang.
I left more optimistic than ever that we can reform California government to serve our area and state. On issues like water, education, and pensions, there is a broadening appreciation that the status quo is unsustainable – and a deepening commitment by reformers in our party (and a few in the other party!) to tackle the big challenges we face as a state.
Our district has suffered more than most as a result of a broken state government. Now, we can play a crucial part in moving California forward by electing a real reformer with the energy and experience to fight for results.
I cannot wait to roll up my sleeves and get to work for the people of our area. But I need your help. Please sign up to volunteer today, and together we’ll bring common sense reform to California.
